LAUREN’S ROLE

Lauren’s role grew alongside the project with AJ Capital. She began as a junior designer focused on documentation and coordination before stepping into the lead designer role. During the final stages, she became closely involved in furniture coordination and installation, carrying the design through to completion.

Memoir sits in the heart of Wedgewood-Houston, a Nashville neighborhood shaped by old warehouses, working buildings, and a growing creative community. The ground-up development takes its cues from that setting, bringing the area’s industrial character into a residential experience that feels connected to what was already there.

The property includes 273 residences, with shared spaces that extend daily life beyond each apartment. Residents move between a communal lobby and a full fitness center, while the outdoor areas make room for everything from afternoons by the pool to games on the pickleball court. A penthouse level of furnished residences accommodates longer stays and brings a hospitality element to the building. Throughout, the design remains grounded in its Wedgewood-Houston setting while giving residents a place that feels like home.
